The Official Million Dollar Bill was originally conceived by Gene Dowdle in 1996, who retired in 2005, leaving his family owned printing company to his two daughters who transformed into the new Atlanta AdGraphics in Lawrenceville, GA.  There has never been a Million Dollar Bill printed, or circulated, by the U.S. Treasury Department, however, the Secret Service took great interest in our production of this marketing piece, and have visited our shop on a number of occasions... ultimately providing us with an authorization to produce these custom designed materials.  Atlanta AdGraphics has customers in all 50 states, many who have purchased these unique marketing pieces since 1996.  Our clients have their own stories about how the Million Dollar Bill has helped their business, many with stories of how their clients have held onto their bills for years.  We look forward to hearing your stories!

Our new design launched in January 2022, after receiving our copyright from the US Library of Congress. The new design uses some of the artwork from Gene's original design. The new design has been a huge success and Gene would've absolutely loved it.

Gene passed away in November, 2012.
